About Us

At MiliMir Pilgrimages, our name says it all—MiliMir means "Sweet Peace" in Croatian.

We believe every pilgrim has an opportunity to cultivate peace. That’s why we are dedicated to cultivating the fruits of Our Queen of Peace in the hearts of every pilgrim who travels with us. Join us and experience a pilgrimage that nourishes your spirit and brings lasting tranquility.

Our Purpose

We join together the youth (be it by age or heart) with similar interests. Bringing them to holy sites across the world to experience the graces of Our Lord, His awesome creation, and the cultures that surround it.

MiliMir was founded by two young entrepreneurs with the goal to bring people to a stronger devotion to Our Lady. We are fervent believers that there is no sweeter path to Christ than through His Mother.

With this, we aim to provide a deeply spiritual journey, while also providing pilgrims the opportunity to actively experience cultural and natural wonders that surround Our Lady’s apparition sites.

Why Medjugorje Now?

How good and how pleasant it is, when brothers dwell together as one” (Psalm 133:1). Surrounding Medjugorje is the sunny Croatian Adriatic coast, picturesque mountains of Herzegovina, all dotted with ancient cities. Providing pilgrims a means to bond over these wonders together in the Lord.

Whether or not you’re familiar with Our Lady’s messages and the visionaries, Medjugorje and her surroundings provide for one of the greatest spiritual journeys a soul can experience in this world. With so many of the Church’s sacraments readily available to us in Medjugorje, it is no wonder that it attracts so many good-hearted people.

We live in a time of exceptional grace, in which Our Lady visits us, to encourage us to pray and fast for peace. That is why she has introduced herself as the Queen of Peace in Medjugorje. Her simple messages reiterate and encourage love. Father Slavko Barbarić, a Franciscan friar who studied and advocated for the adherence to Our Lady’s requests, wrote in his book Abandon Yourselves Totally to Me, that the Lord grants apparitions when the world forgets something important. In reference to man’s turning from prayer and fasting as a result of an evermore busier world, Our Lady calls us to come back to the Lord in prayer and fasting for peace.

With such a lack of peace between nations, companions, and families; the call for prayer and fasting for peace is important, as reiterated by Pope Leo XIV’s call for prayer for peace. But we should find comfort that Our Lady accompanies us in this time of distress. On the 1st of January 2024, Our Lady encourages us through the visionary Marija Pavlović‑Lunetti, “Thank you for having responded to my call and for praying for my intentions. Neither you nor your children nor your children's children will regret this.

Our Lady of Medjugorje, the Queen of Peace, brings to us a very simple message, that is to love God. It's a call to peace between man and God, and among men. We are all called to greatness, and we are all uniquely made. Therefore, let us all play our part and partake in this wonderful time of grace in Medjugorje, so that we may learn to love as God loves.

We are here to help answer her call, by encouraging a turning toward God by taking a big step. A pilgrimage produces much fruit for those who take it. It can be hard to find time for such an adventure, as we have much to do in our busy lives. But to this regard, there is a surprising great lesson from one of the great American presidents, Abraham Lincoln. He said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe”. A pilgrimage sharpens us, so that we can do more with what we are given by God.

Join us on our trips to Medjugorje, where adventure and faith go hand in hand!
